Monica Noone has always taken pleasure and pride in dressing her young children in classic, coordinating
childrenswear.  But with four little ones, the joy of putting together the perfect ensemble quickly became an expensive endeavor. Tiring of paying hundreds of dollars for even casual collections, Monica launched Pennymeade with the goal of providing families like hers with the high-quality, classic clothes she loves, at a price point even a mom of four could appreciate.  The Pennymeade brand is designed to be comfortable and practical, yet still timeless and treasured, with quality that ensures today’s favorites will become a handed down delight for the next child. 

The Name ‘Pennymeade’

Having spent several years of her childhood growing up in the countryside of England, Monica developed a love of simple English pleasures: thatched cottages, homemade jams, and morning walks through endless green fields.  Often, those walks would lead Monica and her little sister to Pennymeade, a nearby pond where hours of play would ensue and girlish giggles would fill the air.  For Monica, Pennymeade is a return to a simple time, a reminder of warm sun, hot tea, and all that is classic, English style, which she adores.
